Who would have thought that Kylie Jenner would surpass a milestone made by Beyonce? Well, it seems that it’s officially happened after her photo of her newborn baby, Stormi Webster, shared on Instagram has garnered more likes than the one Beyonce shared of her pregnant with twins almost exactly a year ago.
The photo of baby Stormi grabbing Kylie’s thumb received over 14 million likes. The photo of Beyonce kneeling with her pregnant belly, surrounded by flowers received over 11 million likes. The extra likes for Kylie could have something to do with the fact that she basically disappeared from social media for a good chunk of time and when she finally revealed she gave birth it was all eyes on her.
After Kylie revealed the birth of her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott with an intimate video, she also shared a message with her fans on Instagram explaining her choice to stay private. “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” she wrote. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.”
