BOOKED & BUSY: Teyana Taylor Just Got Another Gig; Starring in Season 4 of “Hit the Floor”

As if she didn’t already have a great deal on her plate these days, Teyana Taylor has yet another job to put on her resume.

A few original members from the cast are returning to the show, including Kimberly Elise, Dean Cain, and McKinley Freeman (who played Derek). However, stars like Taylour Paige (Ahsha) and Logan Browning (Jelena) won’t be returning. The latter has found fame as the star of the hit Netflix series, Dear White People.

Taylor will join the series, which is set to begin principal photography in November and will premiere on BET in 2018. According to the press release, the show “returns with more scandal, sex, secrets, intrigue and jaw-dropping dance routines.”

A starring role on the show is just one of many opportunities Taylor has been racking up as of late. Literally, news surfaces every week of the 26-year-old signing on for another gig.

Just to name a few, Taylor is set to have her own reality show on E! that follows the star, her husband Iman Shumpert, daughter Junie and their family. Also, she’s joined rapper T.I. and Mike Epps for a role in the upcoming comedy, The Trap. The project is about a man who heads back home to Atlanta to help his brother and mother with their floundering family restaurant.
