Kanye West is sober and ready to change the world.
As we all waited for Kanye West to release his second album of the year in November, the recording artist announced that he would be indefinitely pushing Yandhi back so that it could be perfect. The move is promising and likely signals that Ye realizes he needs to be in the right mindset to craft another iconic album. He previously admitted that he stopped taking his meds in an effort to make a project the caliber of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which is unhealthy, to say the least. The changes seem to have Kanye feeling empowered though as he claims his spirit is “connected” since quitting his drugs.
I got to be myself and nobody had to “let me”

I’m drug free and my spirit is connected. No weapon formed against us shall prosper

This weekend, Yeezy tweeted out that he was furious when he found out that Drake had followed his wife, Kim Kardashian, on social media recently. Many were worried that his frustration would turn into another full-fledged rant but Ye kept things to a minimum, instead reflecting on love, new vibes, and his upcoming work. In doing so, he admitted once again that he’s “drug-free.”
It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Kanye fans this year but the artist appears to be getting himself back on the right path. With Yandhi on the way and a message of love and positivity being spread, a new era is being sprung in.
