After publicly disrespecting her a few months back, Snoop Dogg now feels it’s his place to ask Kim Kardashian for help.
ASAP Rocky was recently arrested in Sweden after allegedly jumping a teen with his friends, stating the teen was following him for a couple of blocks and harrassing him.
Though he has yet to be officially charged with a crime, A$AP has been incarcerated in a Swedish jail cell since the beginning of July. As of yesterday, the U.S. State Department made their involvement known, with a spokesperson imploring Swedish officials to treat Rocky fairly and respectfully. While Rocky’s fate hangs in the balance many in the hip hop community have spoken out in support of the rapper, with Snoop Dogg being one of the most recent.
Snoop took to Instagram to publicly request that Kim Kardashian West, who’s been doing a ton of work in the states to help individuals who are incarcerated unfairly, help ASAP with his situation in Sweden.
“Kim Kardashian, go get my n*gga ASAP Rocky out of jail, you got the plug…You been getting all kind of n*ggas out of jail this year. Go get Rocky out of jail, look out for us. The black community needs this. Kanye, tell you woman to go get him out, come on now,” the rapper stated before branding the video as a public service announcement.
Though his request was obviously fueled with a bit of sarcasm, it’s interesting that Snoop would have the nerve to address Kim at all after disrespecting her several times last year…without any real reason. Many may remember how Snoop taunted Kanye West in 2018 about Drake’s viral track “In My Feelings,” where he alleged Kim was the “KiKi” the hit song refrences and taunting Kanye via Instagram with the statement “KiKi is your b*tch! Drake put dick in your b*tch!” Snoop also spoke against Kim several other times while claiming to be concerned about Kanye’s mental state, alleging that Kim wasn’t the woman for him, and how Kanye “needed a black woman” apparently in order to be able to make sound decisions.
It’s definitely telling how Snoop’s obession/distaste with Kim would lead him to immediately thinking of her during this trying time around ASAP Rocky. I’m sure it won’t lead to any response and Kim has done a great job ignoring the rapper’s previous jabs. What do you guys think? Peep the video of Snoop addressing Kim below:
