Doja may be out of the chatrooms but now her Twitch streaming lover is raising eyebrows. Doja… don’t join the girlies that throw it all away over a man.
Doja Cat has put up boundaries between her personal life and fans. Her followers recently took to social media to question her alleged relationship with Twitch streamer J Cyrus. Many were unimpressed as the content creator has been accused of not only being racist, but also a sexual predator, abuser, and groomer. Fans of the Doja recently revealed on Twitter that she has been blocking followers who bring up the aforementioned allegations, along with allegedly blocking women who have left her comments claiming to be a victim. This of course, left the fans immensely disappointed. Labeling her as someone who supports an “ugly racist and sexual predator.” Others even claimed that she’s following Nicki Minaj’s footsteps.
For those unfamiliar, Cyrus and Doja were first spotted in November 2022. It’s important to note that neither of them have confirmed that they are in an exclusive relationship but have been spotted multiple times since.
Cyrus has amassed equal critics and followers in recent years, especially after several allegations against him came to light. In one of the instances, he was accused of being racist after racially insensitive tweets. He has also been accused of harassing women on Twitch between 2020 and 2022. One Twitter user alleged: “He used his power and influence to mistreat women who watched him stream. The last count of women who came forward was close to 20. He destroyed a community of 100s of people who trusted and admired him. @ jcyrus has proven he should not be given a platform.”
It doesn’t appear Doja is very bothered by her fans claiming they’re “unstanning,” she replied to one comment:
