Tory Lanez strongly disagrees.
Tekashi 6ix9ine introduced his new romantic interest to Tory Lanez and his following during a conversation shared through live streaming. During the interaction, the focus shifted to his girl’s potential of gaining success in the music industry. Although 69 implied Jade would need his help to cut through the noise, he insisted on her impending superstardom, going as far as saying that her success would surpass that of Cardi B.
DJ Akademiks shared a snippet of theconversation in which both Lanez and 6ix9ine engaged in a riled up disagreement. The “STOOPID” rapper explained how he feels he could simply ghostwrite for the aspiring artist: “I’ll write her some sh*t. I’ll be like,’Yo, Jade. You know what? You gon’ rap today.'”
When he’s asked whether he thinks Jade “will go like Cardi B,” the rapper replies with confidence: “She’ll go bigger.” Lanez was adamant about his disagreement with this opinion. Stating that it takes more than rapping skills to rise to the kind of success achieved by the “Bodak Yellow” star.
“Jade, no disrespect to you, but you’re not gonna go like Cardi B. People love Cardi B’s personality. She’s somebody that came from the dirt and rise up, and you can’t take that away from her.”
