It’s been an interesting string of events following Cardi B’s announcement that she and Offset had broken up. Divorces take time to finalize so Offset has been utilizing his time to reverse the negative effects of his trifling ways. His apology tour has been on full force over the past few days, issuing a public apology via Instagram before crashing her Rolling Loud stage with a flower and cake arrangement that didn’t seem to work out as he planned. Now, he’s issued a statement about the gesture on Twitter.

The rapper took to Twitter to explain why he decided to run up on Cardi B’s stage to try and apologize to her publicly. Since the two of them got married, he’s faced many allegations that he cheated on Cardi which is the exact reason why she broke him off. He said that he just wanted to apologize to her publicly since he has previously embarrassed her in front of the world to see.

“All of my wrongs have been made public, i figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too. A nigga was just trying,” he wrote. “Thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheeesh.”
