Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill is the latest rapper to show love and sing the praises of Cardi B. Meek shared his thoughts on Cardi dominating the New York music scene and had nothing but good things to say about the Bronx sensation.
In a new interview with Big Boy’s neighborhood, Meek called Cardi one of the biggest musicians coming out of the Big Apple.
“I got a feature with Cardi B. Cardi B from New York. You know, I’m from Philadelphia. I probably just spent four months of my time in New York. She’s the hottest from New York right now. One of the hottest. That’s just a perfect connection. I’m an East Coast spitter. This is what we do. She’s one of the hottest from the East Coast right now.”
This Friday, Meek Mill’s highly anticipated first album since his release from prison, Championships will finally hit streaming services. Over the past week or so, he’s been dropping a bit more information on the album, although he’s yet to reveal the tracklist or who we could expect to see on the project outside of Cardi, Kodak Black, and Fabolous.
