The revamped “Thotiana” Remix now boasts YG, French Montana and Cardi B.
As if a “Thotiana” remix with YG wasn’t already enough, Blueface made allusion to a 2nd version with Cardi B earlier today on Instagram. The evidence is fairly conclusive, as it comes in the form of a video snippet posted on Blueface’s Instagram Storyboard. In the video, Blueface looks on as one of his engineer’s toys with a Cardi B vocal arrangement over the “Thotiana” beat. The revamped “Thotiana” remix will include the prefixed YG verse, as well as additional vocals from French Montana and Cardi B, as evidenced by the IG posting.
The original “Thotiana” release is currently sitting at number 28 on the Billboard 100. The buffeted Cardi version is a real threat to supplant the original in the nether regions of the charts. There hasn’t been a week in the longest, in which Cardi B hasn’t placed within the top 50. Blueface for his part, is just coming off a minor legal pothole, which saw him booked on gun possession charges, but released on bond a few hours later. As you can see, it hasn’t taken Blueface too long to rebound from such a setback. Industry plant or not, Blueface is generating a ton of interest in the opportunist window created by Tekashi 6ix9ine’s flight of fancy.
