Cardi B seems to find herself in the middle of some drama even when she doesn’t want it. Over the weekend, footage surfaced of Cardi getting into a heated argument with people at a mall (see previous story). There were rumors that it sparked after she shut down the store for a private shopping spree but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The woman that was in the video recently spoke up and explained what exactly went down.
Although the footage surfaced this weekend, Cardi B’s mall altercation actually occurred on April 27th, TheBlast reports. Lolita Beckford-Dawkins, the woman seen arguing with Cardi, said that she bumped into the “Be Careful” rapper outside of the Fendi store and asked for a picture. She claimed Cardi ignored her until she screamed, “Fuck Cardi, you ain’t shit!” Cardi reportedly explained that she didn’t want to take a flick because she didn’t like the way she looked. However, Lolita said that she felt Bardi was being “fake.” They were upset that she only responded once things escalated.
Lolita’s husband ended up getting in the middle of it in order to separate his wife and her friends from getting into it with Cardi. Lolita said that she’s a “mother of 5” and wouldn’t ever harm a pregnant woman.
Cardi’s been keeping it low key ever since she revealed her pregnancy and explained that she’s hesitant in interacting with her fans while she’s carrying a child.
