PUMP IT UP!: Joe Budden & Cyn Santana’s Baby Shower Was Apparently Quite the Party!

When most people think of baby showers, the mental image that comes to mind usually involves a lavish but perhaps generally sedate kind of celebration. It’s an occasion where you, as one-half of the expecting couple, will be surrounded by lots of family and close friends and there will be talk of names, giving of gifts for the upcoming addition to the family, and so on. However, what at least a few people wouldn’t expect from a baby shower is a dance floor that is set on fire by all who attend, turning the affair into one of the parties of the year. This kind of atmosphere is exactly what went down at Joe Budden and Cyn Santana’s baby shower.

Back in August, we reported that the couple would be welcoming their first child into the world in the early stages of 2018. It will be Joe’s second child (he already has a teenage son), but his first with girlfriend Santana. With the due date fast approaching, the couple held a baby shower like no other this past weekend, with the Everyday Struggle host sporting a navy suit and Santana looking gorgeous in a cream-colored dress with jeweled detailing. You can check out some photos of the pair, courtesy of Santana’s Instagram, below.

At some point in the evening, the dance floor was set ablaze by the couple and their guests, who got down to some hip-hop classics such as Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up.” Safaree, who was wearing one of his many fur coats, was another attendee who showed off his moves to the music throughout the night. Peep some video footage from the star-studded affair below.

Budden was recently thrust into the hip-hop media spotlight when he answered criticism that was thrown his way by Nicki Minaj. In general, Budden wasn’t a fan of Nicki’s attempt to supposedly ride Cardi B’s popularity all the way to another hit single that she not have had much to do with in the first place. “People are using Cardi B,” he explained. “Cardi is hot as f**kin’ fish grease and she is being used. Nicki your brand is huge and you’re a f**kin’ huge superstar brand wise, but you need that record, and you need that look.”
