“I really want to put it out on September 1st but Im missing like 4 or 5 songs” – Cardi B.
It was revealed last month that Cardi B is working on a new project at the moment, even though she should be resting up and recovering from her pregnancy, but if all goes as she hopes, that project could be here in a matter of weeks. On Wednesday night, Cardi hopped on IG live while she was watching baby Kulture sleep and shared some details on her upcoming project, revealing that she’s got 4 or 5 songs that didn’t make the final cut for Invasion Of Privacy. Better yet, she says she wants to drop the project September 1st, although she needs a few more records to complete it and her schedule is jam packed.
“Theres about 5 songs that I was supposed to put on ‘Invasion of Privacy’ but they didn’t fit and make sense. So Im gonna put it on this project that I really want to put it out on September 1st but Im missing like 4 or 5 songs,” she said.
In addition to that, Cardi revealed that she has to knock out 6 features for other artists and needs to shoot a couple videos, so her schedule is jam packed. So it kinda sounds like September 1st might not stick, but we’ll wait and see. “I got 4 or 5 songs I gotta finish for this project and I got like 6 features I still got to do [for other artists],” she added.
