ISSA BOP OR ISSA FLOP?: Cardi B Has Had Enough of the Games & Is Back to Make a Statement with “Enough (Miami)”

What’s immediately noticeable as special about this record is that Cardi shifts things back to a style and confidence reminiscent of her mixtape days (Gangsta B*tch Vol’s 1 & 2) while somehow still managing to showcase obvious growth with new flavor delivering hard hitting lines that’s sure to find themselves in every girls instagram caption for the coming months.

Cardi B can’t do anything these days without fans asking her about new music. The anticipation for her follow-up to her record breaking debut ‘Invasion of Privacy’ is truly rising and Bardi increased the hype for her new music even more when she gave fans a little preview of a track in Miami on New Years Eve. Shortly thereafter, the preview took a life of it’s own on every social platform that you could think of as fans demanded to know when they’d be able to get their hands on this mystery track, which they eventually dubbed ‘Miami.’

Apparently Cardi heard their cries loud and clear as after she made her return from a social media hiatus just a few weeks ago dropping off a viral freestyle, she is now giving fans exactly what they asked releasing that ‘Miami’ snippet under it’s official title, ‘Enough.’

“Enough (Miami)” features a strong, confident, and empowered Cardi living the life of luxury. She continues to drop clever bars, reminding her opps that she’s not the one to play with and she has the success (well ahead of most of her detractors) to prove it.

“I can survive in the coldest conditions / Hoes better lower their tone when they spittin’ / B*tches is washed, soap on the dishes / I apply pressure like boa constrictors,” she raps.

In the song’s accompanying video, Cardi showcases her main fashion girly side, as she slays look after look. What I love about Cardi’s videos and style is despite the fact that many try to duplicate the recipe, they never can nail it quite like she does and that’s evident with how she killed this even with a more simplistic feel in comparison to some of her projects.

‘Enough’ is a bold statement from Cardi and almost feels like we’re back in 2017 when she rose to the top with the street anthem that was ‘Bodak Yellow.’ Did I mention it’s the perfect anthem for the warm weather approaching? Take a look at the video for yourself below and let us know your verdict. ISSA BOP OR ISSA FLOP?
