After showcasing her performance prowess at the 2018 American Music Awards, Cardi B’s onslaught continued at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday night (Oct. 16).
Clad in Army fatigues, The Bronx bombshell immediately shut down her detractors with a rendition of her ‘Invasion of Privacy’ intro “Get Up 10.” With a troupe of dancers alongside her, complete with synchronized moves with her in their matching camouflage outfits.
Then, Cardi called on Atlantic Records’ emerging talent Pardison Fontaine for their club banger “Backin’ It Up.” Cardi stripped the skirt element of her ensemble and twerked on the floor in front of her screaming fans, which is probably the exact reaction most of us would have when that record plays.
Following her performance, host DeRay Davis revealed that Cardi had snagged four BET Hip Hop Awards.
