SHE DON’T GOTTA DANCE..SHE MAKES SUPERBOWL MOVES: Cardi B Replaces Amazon’s Alexa In Amazon’s New Super Bowl Commercial (WATCH)

Cardi B’s meteoric rise to mainstream success has landed her a spot in Amazon’s new Super Bowl ad. On Wednesday, Amazon rolled out out a new commercial ahead of Sunday’s big game starring Cardi B and a few other celebrities replacing Amazon’s Alexa voice.

In the 90-second ad, Alexa, which is an intelligent personal assistant from Amazon, loses its voice command to respond to its owner, and calls on several celebrities to help provide assistance. Cardi joins fellow celebrities Gordon Ramsey, Rebel Wilson and Anthony Hopkins, who all provide a comical spin on Amazon’s technology.

For Cardi’s appearance, a kid asks Alexa “how far Mars is?” to which Cardi hilariously replies: “How am I supposed to know? I’ve never been there! This guy wanna go to Mars. For what? There’s not even oxygen there!”

This is just one of Cardi’s many recent accomplishments, who was most recently nominated for two Grammys at the awards show this past Sunday. Although she didn’t win a Grammy, this Super Bowl commercial makes up for quite the consolation prize instead.

Its unclear what Cardi is getting paid for her spot in the Amazon ad, but with Super Bowl commercials reaching $6 million dollars for a 30-second spot, you know she got a nice pay check for her work.

Look for the ad to air during the Super Bowl this Sunday, which is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC and will include a halftime performance from Justin Timberlake.

Watch the commercial a few days early (below).
