Cardi B’s latest single talks about her catching a lick, and it seems as though Cardi has caught exactly that and a major congrats seems to be in order. It’s public knowledge at this point that Cardi is quitting Love & Hip Hop: New York in order to focus on her music after becoming one of the breakout stars of that reality show.
However, one certainly can’t blame Cardi for wanting to stay focused, as sources say that the reality star turned rapper is set to make millions with a deal with Atlantic Records: “They believe in Cardi’s talent. She’s signed a multi-million dollar deal with Atlantic.”
The sources went on to confirm that Cardi B has no interest in returning to the show, saying, “She wants to focus on music and be taken serious. It’s hard for her to do that with all the drama she’s involved in on the show.”
