On Wednesday night (Feb. 15), legendary songstress Mariah Carey teamed up with YG to perform their new single “I Don’t” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
For Carey, her appearance on Kimmel marked her first TV performance since her New Year’s Eve lip sync debacle. Donning a red dress, Carey delivered a strong performance with an equally dapper YG, who sported an all-white suit. His flavor and fervor matched Carey’s honey sweet vocals during the set.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the singer gushed about her chemistry with YG in the studio while creating the Jermaine Dupri-produced record. “He wrote his rhyme and then out of nowhere, he came up with the ‘I know you love me’ part and I loved that [singing] section. I feel like he was a perfect collaboration because he really focuses on what he’s doing,” she said.
