SAY WHAT NOW?: Apparently Nick Cannon Thinks Bruno Mars Has More Hits Than Beyoncé (VIDEO)

To be fair, Nick Thee Cannon is a straight man. So, with that taken into consideration I can see why a Bruno show may be more appealing to him that Bey… but he has been around a very long and he should be well aware of Bey’s catalog of hits that date back to the 90’s.

Nick Cannon says he believes that Bruno Mars has more hit records than both Beyoncé and Taylor Swift while making his case for why he’d rather go see Mars live during a recent episode of his podcast, The Daily Cannon.

“See I think, no offense, but I would rather go to a Bruno Mars show than a Beyoncé or Taylor Swift,” Cannon said. “Who got more hits?” When his co-hosts confidently chose Beyoncé, he responded, “I’m a Beyoncé fan. I still believe Bruno Mars actually has more hit records.” While they cited “Crazy in Love,” “Drunk in Love,” “Single Ladies,” and many more songs from Beyoncé, Cannon failed to name a single comparable track from Mars.

While Cannon couldn’t name a Bruno Mars hit, he does have plenty. Over the years, he’s dropped numerous number-one singles including “Just the Way You Are”, “Grenade”, “The Lazy Song,” “When I Was Your Man,” and more.

Fans of Cannon’s understood both sides of the argument on Instagram “Bruno’s dance talent is incredible and shows do remind you of Morris Day and the Time. Beyoncé does have bangers. Both at the top of the game,” one user commented on the clip. Another agreed, “Bruno Mars has an AMAZING show!!!! AMAZING!!!! Live vocals, live dancing, live instruments and FUN!!!! Great, great entertainer and I’m not exaggerating. I was thoroughly surprised and pleased at his show!”

The discussion comes as Beyoncé has been receiving rave reviews as she embarks on the Renaissance World Tour, which marks her first solo tour since the Formation World Tour in 2016. She’ll be performing a total of 57 shows through September 27, 2023, stopping in England, Spain, France, Germany, and more. Beyoncé will return to the United States on July 12 for a show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Personally for me, there is only one entertainer on earth that I would see before Bey and that’s only because they’re my personal fave/idol. I love Bruno as well and I hate that this is even a comparison because they’re both great in their own right… but Nick was definitely tripping when it came to that “hits” conversation. Take a look at this clip and let us know your thoughts.
