Some things slide across out desk and all we can say is… “who let this happen?”
A video of Colombian singer Shakira’s son interacting with an African American obviously close to his age is currently making some waves via social media. The little girl in the video is the daughter of soccer player, Nelson Semedo.
In the video, Shakira’s young son can be seen placing his hands along the little girls’ head and then looking back down at his hands, seeming to be amazed as he continues to toy around her hair and face, in what some social media users compared to be reminiscent of what one would see with a small dog. During the interaction a woman’s voice can be heard in the background chuckling at the entire exchange.
It’s alleged that Shakira is the one recording & laughing (hasn’t been confirmed). The original video has been removed from their social media pages, but it has been reposted on other platforms. Nonetheless, Shakira’s sons can be seen touching the girl’s face and tugging at her hair as an adult stands by and joyfully records the entire interaction.
We’re unsure where baby girl’s parents were at the time of this video. Some commenters are even saying it’s actually the little girl’s mom who’s recording. Ugh. This is a mess. Peep the video along with some of the social comments below. What do you guys think?
