Meek Mill explains his tweet before hopping off Twitter to experience a “normal nice day.”
Meek Mill stirred the pot when he decided that he was going to spearhead the protest against lace-front wigs. The rapper’s tweet sparked responses from Stefflon Don, among other women, who explained their reason for rocking lace-front wigs. Unfortunately, it seems the backlash he faced from people on Twitter may have driven him off the social media platform.
After stating his position on lace-front wigs, Meek Mill received a flurry of responses from his loyal fanbase. While the rapper faced a bit of backlash, he continued to explain his position, explaining that he’s still attracted to wigs, but he still questions them whenever he sees them. The rapper recounted the time he had to awkwardly let a woman know that her wig shifted back. He further explained that he was traumatized after a certain sexual experience involving a woman’s lace-front. “I was hitting something from the back grabbed her hair just to make it a lil rough and it slipped off and ever since It’s been trauma,” he wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately, some comments he was receiving drove him to hop off Twitter.
“Stop wit all the black women stuff too I actually like black woman best with nothing on “y’all be getting to serious”,” he wrote on Twitter. “Why y’all be so serious on here[.] this stuff is not real life relax …”
However, one of his fans came out to show him support, telling the rapper he didn’t need to apologize for his preference. Meek responded by explaining that he just likes to joke around and that people were simply taking his comments too seriously.
“I just joke all day I don’t care what people be thinking ..I’m about to go outside and have a normal nice day,” he said. “people trolled me for years on here it ain’t make me or break me lol.”
