As many of us know, Soulja Boy has been on one since 2019 kicked off. Recently, the self-proclaimed “hottest rapper in the game” has made many statements which could certainly fall under the category of delusion. However, Soulja isn’t done talking just yet. Most recently, the folks over at Hollywood Fix caught up with Soulja where he stated that he’s surpassed 6ix9ine, achieving greater success on his recent interview with The Breakfast Club than the Gummo rapper.
“I surpassed 6ix9ine,” said Soulja Boy as he exited the Gucci store. “My Breakfast Club interview had 12 million views… It took 6ix9ine 3 months to do that, I did it in 24 hours.”
His words for 6ix9ine were significantly less harsh than the shots he has consistently been throwing at Drake and Tyga recently. The Chicago rapper continued to defend his claims that he’s the “hottest rapper in the game right now,” attributing it to his recent success of his video game console and continued beef with every rapper that comes in his path… all of which is certainly debatable.
Soulja Boy also revealed he’s got an album on the way and is reportedly going on tour with Nicki Minaj in the summer, insisting that a deal with Live Nation has already been closed. “My new album is on the way. I’m going on tour with Nicki Minaj this summer, Live Nation just closed the deal yesterday,” the 28-year-old rapper said.
