Shannon Sharpe ain’t too pleased with Future’s backtalk.
Shannon Sharpe defended his beloved NFL fraternity in siding with Russell Wilson in the wake of Future’s unsolicited message to Russell Wilson this past week. The rapper held his own radio podcast where he addressed among other things, his dislike for Russell Wilson, his baby mother’s husband.”He do exactly what she tell him to do. I feel like … I don’t have no feelings,” Future said right in the midst of his Freebandz program on Apple Music.
“He not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up,” he continued in his emasculation of the Seahawks quarterback.

On Twitter, he was asked whether he’d given Future’s new album a listen; to the user’s surprise, Shannon Sharpe announced an intentional boycott of the rapper’s work, so long as he remains bitter towards Ciara and her new husband. And in doing so, Sharpe was also issuing him a challenge to turn a new leaf. For all we know, the Hall of Famer’s words may very well resonate at a later time.
