LAST SCENE AND SEASON: Tamar Braxton Announces Her Upcoming Album “Bluebird of Happiness” Will Be Her Last: “It’s My Best and My Last! Enjoy!”

Tamar Braxton is gearing up to release her fifth album ‘Blue Bird Of Happiness’ on September 29th and has been igniting excitement all week on social media.

Today though, she threw her fans for a doozy by making a dramatic announcement relating to her future as an artist. In a social media post promoting the LP, she declared the the album will be her “BEST AND LAST.”

THIS is my BEST & LAST album! Enjoy?

Following the announcement, fans are wondering just why she has made this decision. Maybe things behind-the-scenes aren’t going in the manner that she wants them to, but in due time we all probably will find out.

Could this really be Tamar’s last album? I’d hope not, though it’s plausible. After all, Ms. “She, Me, Her” clearly has her hands in many other pots beyond music.

That said, this could also easily be a smart marketing play to drum up more interest? (Let’s hope so)

Tamar had her first big break in music in 1990 as a founding member of the American R&B singing group The Braxtons, formed with her sisters. The Braxtons released their debut album, So Many Ways, as a trio in 1996. In 2000, Braxton began her solo career, after signing with DreamWorks Records. She released her debut self-titled album that same year. The album was not commercially successful, leading to Braxton being dropped from the label’s roster in 2000.

In 2011, Braxton reunited with her sisters for the WE tv reality show Braxton Family Values. The first season was the #1 rated reality show on WE tv, and the network ordered a 13-episode second season of the show after the third episode. Braxton returned to the music industry after a thirteen-year break, with her second album, Love and War (2013). The album was released through Epic Records and became a commercial success.

Calling All Lovers is her fourth studio album. Bluebird of Happiness is the upcoming fifth and final studio album by American R&B singer Tamar Braxton scheduled to be released on September 29, 2017, through Tamartian Land Records and Entertainment One. The album has been preceded by the release of the single — My Man.
