CiCi is prepared to not only make the world dance, but also smile with her new fun anthem, “Thinkin’ Bout You.”
Today, Ciara premiered the lead single on her upcoming album, her seventh since being introduced to Jazze Pha in the early 2000s. Evidently, CiCi has come a long way since forcing her way into the conversation in all fields relative to her, be it dance, video conception, or team building-cohesion.
By uprooting her personal life, Ciara forced herself into an interesting creative position, one she ultimately triumphed over. Her new pop-friendly hybrid maintains a focus on choreography, with the slightest of change put towards songwriting: carefreeness giving way to female empowerment, in order of disappearance.
In the video, Ahead of a big date, the R&B star has some fun while getting ready in her lavish mansion. Covered in bubbles, a naked CiCi dances in the bathtub before grabbing her robe and doing the milly rock in the mirror. The party continues as she dances on her bed and uses her broom as a microphone.
