For fans of Lil’ Kim, it hasn’t been the easiest last few years. After Kim’s prison release in 2006, year after year we held on to hopes of new music, after numerous rumors, annoucements, and so forth (which never actually came from Kim, might I add) that never actually saw anything come to surface.
However, it seems those days may be over and the ‘Queen Bee’ may finally be ready to sting once again! Apart from assisting Remy Ma on her upcoming single ‘Wake Me up’, Kim is finally releasing a buzz single titled ‘Took Us A Break’ today. It’s out via Queen Bee Entertainment with distribution from eOne Entertainment.
You may remember behind the scenes footage of Kim shooting the video for the track surfacing a few weeks ago to much fan anticipation and now we finally get a chance to see it all come together.
“Pop the Lamborghini in the living room, elevated to the master room, my rooftop got a rooftop, bomb p*ssy that’s a boombox,” raps the emcee over the obviously trap influenced track. Catch a 1:30 sneak peek of the song before it’s official itunes release below:
