FACTS OR REACHING?: Luenell Still Doesn’t Feel Like NeNe Leakes Has Earned the Right to Headline Stages as a Comedian – “How You Gon’ Come in a Comedy Club Where Some of Us Sacraficed Our Lives to Be Here?” (VIDEO)

Luenell takes a page out of NeNe’s book and basically says “I SAID WHAT I SAID.”

You may remember a few years back comedian Luenell and ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Nene Leakes had quite the public falling out. Well, Luenell has never been one to silence her feelings and it looks as though she isn’t about to start now.

Back in 2016, the two exchanged words where Nene fired back at Luenell stating she never claimed to be a comedian after hearing her criticisms. The situation was brought up during Luenell’s sit down interview with the folks over at Fox Soul TV in which she kept it real on the matter:

“This whole s*** got blown out of proportion. First of all, I would like to sit and explain to NeNe what my thought pattern was and where I was coming from when I made the statement about how dare her come into a comedy club. When Wendy [Williams] tried to do comedy, she hired a professional, me, and she did it in a theater. Wendy has a built-in audience, she don’t need to be in The Improv… she can do wherever she wants to. So she respected the art form and she did it the right way.”

She then continued to elaborate on she disliked how NeNe Leakes handled things.

“How you gon’ come in this comedy club, when there are comics who sacrificed their lives to be in here, and you just prance in? Like when she did the Broadway show in New York they didn’t say nothing as theater people, but I’m sure they weren’t excited about a reality star standing on the same [boat] that they sacrificed their life to be on.”
