Tekashi 6ix9ine’s swift removal from the outside world was imminent but still shocking. The rainbow-haired rapper has been behind bars for a couple of months now, fighting for his bail. We were hit with endless pictures and videos of Tekashi trolling and talking slick just a few months ago, and then it all just stopped. We did get his Dummy Boy album, but it didn’t sustain its initial momentum.

After just over a month on the Billboard 200 chart, Dummy Boy is sitting at #42. Albums that are older currently hold higher positions, such as Lil Baby & Gunna’s Drip Harder and Juice WRLD’s Goodbye & Good Riddance, as well as the obvious heavy hitters such as Drake, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, and others. Tekashi’s hype was slowly simmering down without his face and personality gracing the streets. There hasn’t been a new picture of him posted online since he was locked up. Until now. The rapper’s girlfriend Jade went to visit her man, and shared a picture of their embrace on Instagram. Tekashi’s face is on full display, and it doesn’t look like anyone’s laid a finger on him behind bars. He wears a satisfied expression on his face, as his hands are fully occupied with Jade’s goods.
