Nicki Minaj is giving fans a sneak peek of her upcoming “Bed” music video, a collaboration with Ariana Grande. A photo was the first hint followed by a couple of video posts. The photo’s caption asks the public whether the rapper should release the music video tonight or if they rather her wait until tomorrow. The second caption reads,”A beautiful *mermaid* washed up on the beach while we were shooting the #BedVideo. Such a precious creature.” Check out the esthetic.
Of course, Azealia Banks came out with some hateration. She took to her own instagram to post a screenshot of Nicki’s photo. Banks takes shots at the “Chun Li” rapper in her caption: “Chicken of the sea sis. Stay in your own lane. @nickiminaj lol you running out of ideas girl.” The fact that she actually tagged Minaj cements her shameless persona as a fighter.
She continued on Twitter saying, “rap b*tches tell they team to make em like AB.” Azealia is suggesting that Nicki is biting her style because she’s known to use a mermaid as a part of her brand.
The “Chun-Li” rapper has been clapping back a lot to online trolls lately and Azealia certainly fits that description. We’ll see if Nicki responds. Should she?
