“That was the early 2000s, y’all. I don’t even know if that counts anymore!”
You can always count on Tiffany Haddish for a good story and on Tuesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” she certainly didn’t disappoint as she filled us in on a little secret.
During a game of Burning Questions, the TV personality asked her guest if she’s “ever dated a celebrity that the world doesn’t know about.” At first, Haddish laughed and said no, but after pressing the buzzer even DeGeneres called pointless, she walked back her answer.
“I mean, I talked about one, but was it really dating or did we just hook up?” Tiffany asked rhetorically, before blurting out, “Chingy.”
“That was the early 2000s, y’all. I don’t even know if that counts anymore,” she added, before breaking out into song. That’s right — Tiffany Haddish hooked up with the man responsible for the 2003 smash hit, “Right Thurr” — or so she says.
Chingy didn’t let that story go very long as he posted a clip of what Tiffany had to say to his Instagram account with the caption:
“Now Tiffany Haddish knows damn well that’s a lie. Since she lied, i’ma tell the truth. She used to hook up with my brother not me, she liked me. Hey if we gon be honest, let’s be honest.”
Some called Chingy out in his comments for attempting to shut down the story telling him to “just roll with it.” But why should he? Check out the clip and what Chingy had to say below. What do you guys think?
