Teyana Taylor really did make an anthem with her latest single off of her K.T.S.E. album titled “WTP.” The acronym for “Work This Pussy” has been a staple for ballroom culture since the album’s release. The new video for the song, directed by Teyana, follows a Cinderella story kind of vibe where Teyana is the housemaid who simply wants to prove that she too can “work her pussy.”
The end of the video sees some intimate moments between Teyana and her husband Iman Shumpert which is a timely move since the “Roses In Harlem” singer and her man had to shut down some ridiculous cheating rumors.
“Everybody that knows me knows that I live for that,” Teyana told Billboard when discussing her love for Ball Culture. “I’ve been in that scene since I was a 15-year-old. They have been sneaking me into the balls. I have been honorary in their house. It began at a young age. So, I have always appreciated the culture. I am really just a gay boy in a woman’s boy, for sure.”
