After nearly a week of waiting on a response from Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma has shot just a few more shots by releasing a second diss record with the aptly titled “Another One.”

Remy got tired of waiting on Minaj, who avoided the backlash she received through “Shether” and instead focused on promoting a music video with bikini shots on Instagram. Turns out, Remy Ma was taking note, and took a page out of Drake’s feud book by directly addressing these moves. “Not again, not again,” she ominously says in the opener, echoing the flow that Drake used to body Meek Mill with “Back to Back.”
“I guess you know now who the head b*tch is, Remy mocks, before asking “I mean where the f*ck is your song, I mean ‘cmon!” The shots don’t stop there, either as the “All The Way Up” rapper also takes time to call out Minaj for not taking a little L, but “a big L” and “I guess this what I gotta do to make ya’ll spit.” Whereas “Shether” used Nas’ “Ether” as a reference, Remy Ma clearly has Drake’s second Meek Mill diss in mind here, and she wields her lyrical weapons to maximum effect here.
I definitely don’t think this is as strong as “Shether,” I also dont think Remy should continue this if Nicki isn’t responding. Listen to both “Another One” and the original “Shether” track below:
