HOW YOU DOIN?: Wendy Williams Announces Extended Leave From Talk Show For “Personal & Physical Well-Being”
19.01.19

Sending well wishes to Wendy Williams.

Wendy Williams has struggled with her health for a while now and more recently her audience was witness to an interview gone bad due to pain meds. Wendy popped some pills to endure some serious pain and the result was some slurred words and confusion while she interviewed The Lox.

“I sincerely apologize if you feel that today’s show was less than stellar. I’m on your TV screens every day wanting to spread laughter, entertainment and cheer,” Wendy wrote in a statement at the time.

Variety now reports that after announcing a hiatus just last week, Wendy has now extended her break from television even further for her “personal and physical well-being.”

“Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment,” according to a note from her family. “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being.”

A more in-depth note was published to her Instagram, check it out below.
