GIRL, WHAT?: One of the Clermon Twins Have Been Arrested for Stealing Her Prostitution Date’s Credit Card After He Died

One of the infamous Clermont Twins was arrested on a slew of charges, including stealing the debit card of a man who had overdosed and using his identity to ring up thousands of dollars in purchases.

According to the U.S. Attorney, Shannade Clermont has been charged with wire fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Officials say in 2017 Clermont stole the debit card information “of a man she had visited for a prostitution date and who was found dead in his apartment the next morning from a drug overdose.”

The man, who was not named, died due to an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators collected his iPhone, wallet and a loose condom from his bed after he was discovered dead. Text messages were recovered from the victim’s phone directly linking Clermont to him.

nvestigators were told by a doorman that Clermont said her name was “Audrey,” and she was seen with the victim hours before he was discovered dead.

It’s unclear if Clermont knew the victim was dead before she allegedly took the credit card information and racked up over $20,000 in charges. Officials claim she paid her rent and phone bills, bought plane tickets and several online purchases “of thousands of dollars of clothing and other merchandise.”

According to text messages recovered by officials from the victim’s phone, Clermont had agreed to have a date with the man for $400.

U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said, “As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the “Bad Girls Club,” lived up to her reality series reputation.” He continued, “Clermont’s new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct.”
