DESPITE WHAT “THEY” SAID: City Girls’ Member JT Has Not Recorded Any Diss Track About Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Or Anyone Else for That Matter

Don’t fall for the hype.

Unfortunately we live in a time where individuals seem to have enough time to copy, paste, chop, and screw various sources of content throughout the internet and social media to twist into their own narratives.

Everyone has been counting down the days until JT of the City Girls made her way out of prison. The budding superstar has been serving time for over one year for fraud-related charges and with the snap of a finger, there were a bunch of folks claming they were done with her…all because of an old Facebook live video edited into something else.

Although the audio was only up for a few moments, it managed to make it’s rounds rather quickly. A Facebook live video from years ago before her rise to fame with the City Girls, combined with video interview she had done speaking on other women in rap, was edited into an alleged “diss track” by an instagram page infamous for starting issues between female rappers, namely Cardi B as they claim to be one of Nicki Minaj’s deranged “barbz.”

The edited clip featured JT seemingly coming for Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Kash Doll, and others in the fake diss. The culprits who made it attempted to sell it with the story that it was recorded over the phone with Yung Miami live from prison. Yes, no matter how ridiciulous all of this sounds it really had individuals going for it which is proved by the reaction of many on social media right now. The video was even posted by The Shade Room and quickly deleted after they got word that it wasn’t legitimate. Peep a clip from the original live in which JT rapped the lyrics which sourced most of the edited video below. Do better people, there’s real tea out there.
